Amjad is the Founder & CEO of Repl.it and was previously the Javascript Infrastructure Team Lead at Facebook, where he helped bring notable projects to life such as React native, BabelJS, Jest, and more. Before working at Facebook, Amjad was the Founding Engineer at Codecademy, where he helped build the company and technical infrastructure from the ground up.
Amjad first made a splash in the world of technology when he hacked his University's computer network and subsequently worked at Yahoo. As an immigrant from Jordan, Amjad has faced numerous obstacles in his path and overcome them despite odds.
